Message: Kristy, if you don't put an email address or phone number in the actual body of the eail the drivers have no way to get back to you. If you only put your Email address in the box provided they won't get it its generated through the kootenay rideshare server , and will not let you respond. Kootenayrideshare doesn't give out your email address , you have to include it in the message

I'm leaving Vancouver the evening of the 20th to avoid the heat of the day and traffic. I drive straight through to Nelson/Ymir with the occasional break for tea, snacks, cartwheels, stargazing. I smoke while I drive, I drive with the window open, I sing along to music a lot and I am very silly. But I'll get you to the koots in time for breakfast. I have a 4runner, so there is space for people and gear and my truck's name is Nina, if there is any curiosity about that sort of thing.
By the by, this is the first time in about 8 years I've ever had any trouble with the site. I've had nothing but joyful awesome rides and riders thanks to yous.

I have been getting 3-4 requests a day, and I have had my quota filled last week, so it is a big nuisance to me and the others looking. Can anyone tell me how to edit or delete a ride?
I use the board a lot (what a great thing it is). I recently posted a ride that ended up being incorrect, since my plans changesd shortly afterwards.
I cannot figure out how to delete the ride, or edit it. This is causing some confusion and disappointment. Is there any way to fix my posting?

I am looking for a ride from Nelson to the Spokane airport on November 30th, and another ride back to Nelson on December 15th, and would love to hear from anyone travelling to and from Spokane on those dates. I am happy to share gas/expenses and/or driving. I am a mature, responsible driver with a flawless driving record, in case an extra driver is wanted. I would expect to walk through the border separately, in case there are any concerns about crossing the border with strangers. Travel arrangements to Spokane (Nov 30, arriving before 4pm) have to be firm & reliable, because I can't afford to miss the flights... :) Thanks!

I'm now back in my home town in Ontario and I want to get the same idea started up. I'm running a community weblog at http://www.theowen.com/go which services Owen Sound and the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario and we would like to run a rideshare program. What I'm wondering is if this program is your own creation or whether it is a shareware that we can also take advantage of. Either way we're going to get us a rideshare program for our area.
